MDA offers a complete range of imagery and data preparation services for the Visual Simulation, Modeling and Training applications. For imagery MDA offers:

  1. Global 15m resolution natural color imagery called NaturalVue covering almost the entire land area of the Earth, file size 4 terabytes.
  2. High resolution satellite imagery inserts from .5m to 10m from QuickBird, Ikonos, OrbView, SPOT and aerial imagery.
  3. Seamlessly color match all resolution and match with terrain data from NGA, SRTM and maps.
  4. Integration of terrain with imagery for Openflight terrain models
Color Matched Satellite Images

Much of the imagery is already preprocessed in natural color. MDA custom color match to your particular requirements. Just send us a sample and we will match the colors. Click on the right image to see a set of color matched images over San Francisco using EarthSat NaturalVue, SPOT, Ikonos and Quickbird.

With EarthSat NaturalVue as a backdrop, it is possible for you to have uniform colors over very large geographic areas.

MDA also supports Infrared FLIR sensors simulations. MDA has created a near global dataset for landcover types at 30m resolution which is ideal for input into FLIR models. These data have been purchased by NGA for Government use. MDA is making this information available to the commercial community.

  • EarthSat NaturalVue off-the-shelf with 15 natural color is an inexpensive option at $0.002 / sq km
  • EarthSat NaturalVue Premium includes custom color matching to your requirements
  • EarthSat NaturalVue Plus includes custom color matching with color balanced Hi-res inserts.

For Modeling and simulation companies offering simulation systems, MDA has a special pricing plan which allows repeated resale’s without royalty. MDA has supplied imagery for the following systems:
