ExtraVehicular Robotics & Crew Systems

As a member of the International Space Station Extravehicular Robotics (ISS EVR) team, MDA has maintained a broad knowledge of the EVR system, specifically the Mobile Servicing System (MSS).  We provide expertise in:

• Coordination and resolution of complex multidisciplinary issues
• Definition of specifications and ICD requirements
• Support of element acceptance processes
• System and stage assessment processes
• Certification at flight readiness reviews 

MDA is there to coordinate and interact with NASA, the Space Station International Partners, (particularly with the Canadian IP) and subcontractors of the ISS Program Mission Integration and Vehicle offices.  We support the sustaining engineering team in mission simulations and real-time ISS mission support, anomaly resolution, and robotics analysis and special studies.
