Robotics Simulations

MDA supports NASA's Engineering Directorate and Mission Operations Directorate by developing a variety of robotic simulations to achieve training and analysis objectives. The objectives include:

• Kinematic analysis and trajectory planning
• Dynamic loads analysis
• Contact model analysis
• Astronaut training
• Flight controller training
• Control of hardware simulators (NBL,DMT,MRMDF, etc)

NASA relies on MDA systems knowledge, software development skills and engineering expertise to perform:

• Modeling and emulations of International Space Station (ISS) systems
• Project engineering
• Integration of ISS flight software components
• Validation of dynamic response
• Development of user interfaces
