Audits and Surveys

Audits Surveys and Assessments:

  • Quality Management System (QMS) Surveys/assessments are a independent system-oriented process designed to determine a suppliers conformance with their QMS and procedural requirements. Product and Process assessments document the operational readiness of a suppliers QMS infrastructure to support the manufacturing test and delivery of conforming hardware and software products to a contracted standard. The primary types of surveys/assessments are:
    • Traditional, QMS (onsite evaluation) Project specific or Industry Standards
    • Joint Survey, QMS or Process oriented (Team Effort) Multiple disciplines and or organizations
    • Follow-up Survey (onsite evaluation of a supplier’s implementation of corrective action plan and closeout of deficiencies)
    • Product/Process Integrity Assessment (Team Effort) baseline supplier’s operational manufacturing, processing and verification practices.
  • Product Process Audits are predicated on validation of conformance to the requirements document such as: (specification and or drawing) along with the supplier’s implementation of internal command media.
