Facilitation and or consultation, maybe necessary because the expertise or tools are difficult to obtain, costly to use, and are only needed during a brief analysis task. It is cost effective for a consultant to maintain the expertise and tools. Also tools used incorrectly can cause more harm than good.
• MDA provides the expertise to facilitate the identification of system safety risks in a project’s design and operational phases while supporting the discovery of potential risk candidates and program deficiencies. • An important component of Risk Management is the ability to analyze and quantify risks. MDA can provide the expertise to ensure the safety and reliability processes necessary for complex commercial, military and civilian systems by interfacing directly with design teams and decision makers. MDA will provide subject matter experts to perform systems assessments and analyses required to reduce programmatic risk.
