MDA developed a GIS package for digital storage of multiple layers of geological, geochemical, structural, and geophysical datasets for the Naval Air Weapons Station.
In support of the Naval Air Weapons Station Geothermal Program Office's exploration and resource management activity, MDA developed a GIS package for digital storage of multiple layers of geological, geochemical, structural, and geophysical data sets organized for rapid retrieval for multiple concurrent investigations, and the interpretation and production of geographically-referenced data overlays. The data sets included: Gravity, Magnetometer Points, Ground Magnetics, Aeromagnetic Survey, Topographic and Geologic Maps, Geochronology, Rock and Water Geochemistry, Mine Surveys and Mercury Surveys, Satellite Imagery, NAP Photography, TIGER Files and Earthquake Data.
