Custom Projections
GeoCover-Ortho imagery reprojected to a customer specified projection, datum, and pixel size.
GeoCover-Ortho Custom Projection Products are GeoCover-Ortho Stock Scenes (with their full compliment of spectral bands) which have been reprojected to a customer specified projection and/or datum. The custom products are reprojected to the customer's GIS requirements without loss of geodetic accuracy.
These custom products are specifically designed to provide a "load & go" product for the end-user's GIS. The GeoCover-Ortho Custom Projection Products are in a GeoTIFF file format that can be read directly into all the major GIS and Image Processing systems.
Because GeoCover-Ortho imagery is being used for the Custom Projection products, the image data availability is the same as that for the GeoCover-Ortho Stock Scene products.
2000 Custom Projections
- Worldwide coverage of the Earth's Landmass (including many island areas)
- Customer specified projection and datum
- Customer specified pixel size
- Customer specified pixel interpolation (Nearest Neighbor or Cubic Convolution)
- Unit size and coverage determined by Landsat WRS-2 (Path/Row) Reference system
- Total of nine (9) Landsat ETM+ spectral bands: six (6) reflective, one (1) panchromatic, and two (2) thermal bands
- 50 meter RMSEr positional accuracy
- GeoTIFF file format - "Load & Go" GIS compatible
1990 Custom Projections
- Worldwide coverage of the Earth's Landmass (except Siberia and Antarctica)
- Customer specified projection and datum
- Customer specified pixel size
- Customer specified pixel interpolation (Nearest Neighbor or Cubic Convolution)
- Unit size and coverage determined by Landsat WRS-2 (Path/Row) Reference system
- All seven (7) Landsat TM spectral bands: six (6) reflective and one (1) thermal
- 50 meter RMSEr positional accuracy
- GeoTIFF file format - "Load & Go" GIS compatible
