Meteorological Applications Developer
This position will support research and development activities for MDA Federal's EarthSat Weather Services division.

MDA Federal Inc. is seeking an experienced Meteorological Applications Developer with expert knowledge of C/Fortran, PERL, and SQL. Qualified applicants will have at least three years experience programming these languages in a UNIX/Linux environment. Proficiency in shell scripting, PHP, HTML, and JavaScript is highly desirable.
The position requires the ability to ingest, process, and disseminate various meteorological datasets in a fast-paced, real-time, client-driven environment. The ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment and also function independently is a must. Applicants should have a BS or MS in a physical science (preferably meteorology) with supplemental coursework or comparable professional experience in computer science.
