Basic Energy Report 1-15 day

This is MDA EarthSat Weather's premier service that caters to all energy interests for North America. The 5-page morning report covers the forward 1-15 day period and specifically focuses on forecast temperature anomalies, change from previous forecasts, and critical factors that could alter the forecast and the expected outcomes. Through a combination of weather maps, objective forecast charts, and text discussion, a complete early morning (6:30am ET) weather briefing is made available to the clients. The package provides a complete picture for risk management and demand assessment.

Long Range Forecasts - 30/60 Day

As a part of MDA EarthSat's Basic Product the client has access to our 30/60 day forecast. Using a unique consensus method from all of our in-house meteorologists, we provide unrivaled forecast accuracy for the extended range periods. Issued weekly on Wednesday mornings. Pages - 2

This value-added component provides additional focus on the Western states. Both demand (temperature) and supply (hydrological) issues are addressed in this comprehensive daily 3-page report.

Riverside Update

Joint product with Riverside Tech that forecasts the water supply situation for PacNW hydro power.

Gas Weather Outlook

This product is produced in association with PIRA and provides the latest EIA forecasts (current week and forward weeks). The report includes degree day updates weighted by natural gas and electricity consumption as well as discussions from both MDA and PIRA. Get the power of two consulting firms in one product!

Global Energy Update

This 8-page business daily report offers the latest analyses and forecasts of the Global energy demand situation. A comprehensive European 1-5, 6-10, and 11-15 day forecast maps are provided along with individual city forecasts and written discussion that assesses the risks and concerns of the forecast period. Included on most business days is the European Editor's Notes. In addition, special e-mail updates are also included. Early delivery for the Europe energy markets is guaranteed. Beyond Europe, the Global daily report features key LNG specific areas targeted for Asia as well as the U.S. Atlantic Coast. As a quick reference, the Global Weather Highlights page features important weather impacts all on one page.

Europe Basic Product

Similar to the US Basic Product with the main difference being that here we are focusing on the European region. 1-5, 6-10, and 11-15 day forecasts update daily along with a 14 city 1-10 max/min forecast. The 30/60 day page updates every Wednesday. European Editor's Notes also accompany the product daily as well.

Noon Update Sample

This one-page noon update offers the very latest information based on the updated short to medium range model guidance. New forecast information through day 15 is provided, including assessment of changes and differences from the morning Energy Report. For an additional charge, updated city forecasts (for 16 cities) are available for this update.

Evening Update

Providing analysis of the later afternoon and evening model runs for the overnight and electronic trading platforms.

Lonestar Report

This 3-page daily product offers a very detailed and focused look at the Texas weather situation through the 1-15 day period. Forecast confidence, risks, and regional analysis all comprise this value-added component to the basic energy package. Forecast includes temp, precip, and wind outlooks.

Models Page

Provides access to the GFS, ECMWF, and CMC models. All runs of the Operational and Ensembles are accessible along with every major variable needed to compile a successful forecast. Model verification statistics along with 6-10 and 11-15 day composites are also provided.

ERCOT Report

Daily 7 day forecast power product for the ERCOT region. Temperature and load forecasts included along with historical data. Joint product with TESLA Forecasting Applications. Initial forecast issued prior to power market official opening. Load forecasts also broken down into different zones.
