MDA Geospatial Services U.S. today announced the release of EarthSat NaturalVue, the only global 15-meter resolution natural color image dataset in existence today. EarthSat NaturalVue is based entirely on Landsat 7 data acquired between 1999 and 2001. Only the very best scenes with minimum cloud cover were selected.

EarthSat Renamed MDA Federal Inc.

As part of a broad re-branding initiative by its parent company, MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA), Earth Satellite Corp., of Rockville, MD, is being renamed MDA Federal Inc. From now on, the company will conduct its business under the common brand name “MDA.”
